Recently, the reporter saw in the workshop of Zhucheng Yikang Food Co., Ltd. that a batch of custom-processed onion chopped products have been packed and are preparing to be sent to Japan and South Korea.
It is understood that Zhucheng Yikang Food Co., Ltd. processes 20,000 tons of fresh vegetables annually, with over 80% exported to countries and regions such as Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and North America. In recent years, a dense array of laws and regulations regarding China’s agricultural products have been introduced in this area, resulting in increasingly high entry thresholds. To further enhance the export level of foreign trade products, our city actively fosters new quality agricultural productivity, strictly controls food safety, and simultaneously improves refined processing, facilitating the smooth "going abroad" of high-quality agricultural products.
Sun Xigao, the general manager of Zhucheng Yikang Food Co., Ltd., told reporters: "The company conducts differentiated production based on the varying requirements of different countries and regions. Some require careful selection, followed by sorting according to specifications before packaging; others need to convert large packages into smaller ones, and we strive to meet our customers' requirements as much as possible."
Zhucheng Yikang Food Co., Ltd. is busy exporting orders, while a professional cooperative specializing in fruit and vegetable crisps located in Longdu Street is also racing to fulfill a batch of foreign trade orders from the Middle East.
The chairman of the cooperative, Shao Xiqiang, introduced that thanks to the e-commerce platform, the order volume has been maintained at around 10 tons per month. It is understood that the cooperative has established three production lines for freeze-dried and flash-fried fruits and vegetables, implementing standardized and refined production, with products covering over 20 varieties in three major categories: fruits, vegetables, and fungi, reaching an annual output of nearly a thousand tons. Locally, the 'Party Branch - Cooperative - Party Members and Masses' model is vigorously promoting the development of the fruit and vegetable crisp snack industry.
Zhu Zhiwen, deputy director of the Economic Development Office of the Longdu Street Office in Zhucheng City, told reporters: 'The main work now focuses on continuing to improve product quality and increasing product variety, while also assisting enterprises in finding orders and participating in various industry forums and exhibitions to expand our fruit and vegetable crisps beyond Zhucheng and onto the international stage.'
In recent years, our city has encouraged enterprises to engage in in-depth research and development, widely applying digital intelligence and green technologies to advance agricultural production towards a high-end, green, and intelligent model, thereby enhancing the overseas competitiveness of Zhucheng's agricultural products. Wang Yuhui, deputy director of the Rural Revitalization Bureau of Zhucheng City, stated in an interview: 'In the process of cultivating a new quality of agricultural productivity, we focus on increasing the export proportion of deep-processed products and high value-added agricultural products, promoting the transformation and upgrading of the export structure, creating new growth points for foreign trade, and driving stable and quality-enhanced growth in the export volume of Zhucheng's agricultural products.'
